Beach Clean up! Third Saturday. of every month at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Meet on the beach at 1 Granada Ave. in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach to help rid the beach of trash and debris. Saturday Sippers: The Big Red Bus Wine Tasting Tour.  12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  Now on the 2nd Saturday every month starting March 14th! Each month the Big Red Bus will stop at Morry's "Backroom" and "Tracht's" at the Renaissance Hotel, plus a very special guest location! March 14th it's the Daily Grill! At each stop guests will spend an hour enjoying four 2 oz pours and delectable appetizers. On the 3rd Sunday of each month at Long Beach Veterans Stadium, spread out over 20 acres you'll find well over one half million antiques and collectibles for sale at wholesale prices .   Early entry is $10 (5:30AM to 6:30AM)  and general admission starts at 6:30AM ($5.00 - 4.50 with email after 8:00AM)

Pier Daze Pirate Invasion and Faire.  11 am-7 pm - Belmont Pier, 15 39th Place, Long Beach
Bring the family to enjoy the new and improved Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. The festival will feature live pirate shows, pirate ships attacking the pier and taking "hostages", a pirate costume contest, actors from Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, a Kid's Treasure Hunt, a sword fighting show, Capt. Long Beach Bayou Festival.  For 23 years the Long Beach Bayou festival has offered the best in family oriented entertainment. Each year it brings together a mix of authentic Louisiana music (Blues, Cajun and Zydeco), creole food and arts & craft vendors to downtown Long Beach for a weekend of music, dancing and fun.
